Routes & Fruits: The Vancouver LGBT Rock Climbing Group is our daughter group and a pioneer project founded in 2010 by our beloved Organizer Giulio with the mission to introduce the amazing sport of rock climbing to everybody in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender and queer community with the vision that more people in the LGBT population will enjoy climbing, learn how to climb, network with other climbers, share techniques and fun and have the adventure and happiness of their lifetime, boosting their self-confidence.
Due to many injuries and falls – in love, mainly 
– the gay group doesn’t have enough organizers at the moment and can’t enjoy a fix schedule (as of summer 2012). Please refer to the VRCG calendar if you want t climb: it’s a very safe, supportive and LGBT-friendly group and there are several rainbow climbers already (but no one of them is an organizer).
We celebrate and promote inclusiveness and diversity, and welcome climbers of all levels. We are straight-friendly, too!
